I thought the old bimmers were problematic? or was that just the 3 series?

I am gettin close to buying a four door car.. this info interests me too..

Dude get an early 2000 or late 90s infinity g20.. those can be made to look sexy!! and they are cheap.. not rwd though.. Infinity M45 upto 2004 are nice luxo look cars.. through some beeeeg wheels on it and lower it. !! you can get that VIP or eurosport look..

Egad! The 7-series bimmer is a notorious money pit. Cheap to buy, but you'll quickly exceed that figure in repairs. There's a reason they're cheap used cars.

Seriously, if you want CHEAP and kinda fun to drive, try a first gen Dodge Neon. Behind the Viper, it was the second fastest car sold by Chrysler Corp in 1996! Haha. I read that somewhere. Don't know if it's true. Get a low miles DOHC with a 5-speed. They actually handle pretty nice for a cheap little car. Gas mileage is good too. Watch out for head gaskets, though!

Well I ended up with a 04 trailblazer. Not exactly what I wanted but when you need something right away it starts to limit options. Getting it for 2k, has the typical problems speedometer doesnt work, tach is out, headlight wiring fried on drivers side, and a couple minor things. Cant you just feel my excitement?

You should lend that thing to your friend as soon as possible!

Seriously, congrats on your new wheels. You said you needed a truck, and that's closer to a truck than a 7-series bimmer.... or a Neon.

Yeah But a neon was the fastest car Chrysler made after the viper in 1996, I read it on the interwebs so it must be true.

Grats on a Chevy there Pukku. Just get some parts for it when you can and fix them issues!! they dont sound too bad.
