as for gm and there stupid manifold gaskets. here's a hint, it's not just their trucks. ALL their vehicles have intake manifold leaking problems. they either **** out coolant or cause a vac leak and screw everything up. Let's see, almost every pontiac is known for it, the blazer is notorious for it, the tahoe/yukon/sametruckdifferentname is notorious for it.



you know how many times theyve redesigned the same gasket and still have the same problem? about 6 or 7 times now...they update it so often you cant buy it from a parts store because it's out-dated, you have to buy it from the dealers.



there are a handful of manufacturers out there with a product worth paying what theyre asking, and the biggest tip? theyre not american.



as for cadillac, dont get me started on that backward *** bunch of "next-gen thinkers" kiss my ***. first they make you pay extra cause its a cadillac....then when it breaks they make you pay extra for the stupid gm parts because theyre FOR your over-priced cadillac.

the intake manifold gaskets recently went out on my dads GMC van.

 

That's usually what I aim for! hah!

 

Yuke is in the shop. Unbelievably so, the head guy actually was aware of the **** gaskets. Hopefully they get done. I asked for a once over on the whole truck, as soon as the guy actually acknowledged the issue and didn't look at me like I was ******* retarded. He even agreed that the 4-wheel drive noise is somewhat abnormal, but that his does the same and he didn't try to sell me anything.



Hopefully I get a running truck back. So I can trade it in! LOL

 

According to Consumer Reports, the Nissan Titan and Armada have dropped to well below average reliability. Most of the problems appear to be related to the braking systems.

 

I thought it was only the first year they came out (2004) that they had braking issues.

 

Braking complaints persist through '06 at least, along with some concerns about "body hardware" and "body integrity".

I've know a lot people that have owned nissans and never heard anything good. Guy i used to work with, his wife had an altima that ate of transmissions like gas.
