a guy up the street from my shop has a Renault Alliance AND a K car, he must be some kind of sicko
I happen to know the whereabouts of what may very well be the best low-mileage example of a 1988 Dodge Aries K. It's all-original, never wrecked, and has less than 50K miles. I'm thinking Barrett-Jackson will be very interested.

The best Iacocca moment ive heard was when he asked his head of engineering how long it would take to make a convertible for him to test. The exec basically told Mr. Iacocca it would take 3 years. Iacocca told his engineer he didn't understand - Iacocca wanted him to pull a car off the line, take a saw and cut the top off. That should take about 4 hours. The action was taken, and Mr. Iacocca took the topless sedan for a ride around the block. In less than an hour he was convinced bringing back convertibles would be a huge boost to Chrysler profits.

No, no. That's ludicrous. If they did that, the car would lack structural integrity and suffer from a harsh, noisy ride and the dreaded "cowl shake" much like the Sebring convertible.... Um....,wait.....

You've never seen the Top Gear where they chop the top off a minivan called the Renault Espace and since it had a plastic roof anyway, the thing still held together really well at highway speeds. Their top hand-made with material for tweed pants didnt exactly work though..or their lexan windows.
