My dilemma.

Daily Driver - Mini Cooper - Supercharged - Premium only 25MPG City Driving

Wifes Daily Driver - Audi A-6 - V-6 BiTurbo - Premium Only - 25MPG City Driving

RX-7 - What do you think? 14 MPG

Premium around here is 2.15 a gallon at the Citgo on the corner.

Ouch!!!

The funny part was I was contemplating getting a Honda Civic hybrid for my wife when we decided on the Audi.

Funny story about that, me and and my g/f went up north for a weak, and we stopped by this indian reservation gas station. We went there to get gas and the funny thing is that they were refilling there gas storage things at the gas station, and we could see them just loading their gas with all sorts of additives, there was even a guy with a garden hose spraying it into the hole they were filling with gas WITH water. so me and my girlfriend were like, well **** that, so we left. Alaska can come to, THE END!!!

P.S. Fuckng Indians ripping people off with their cheap *** gas.

My daily driver is the mini pickup- 30mpg in the city

Girls daily driver the MPI mini sportpack 35mpg in the city

My FD- who knows

Today I filled up the pickup and it was about $6.50 for 3 1/2 gallons of regular. That will last me another 100 miles throughout the week in town going back and forth to school.

HA! My daily is my 7 which I drive like an idiot so I get something like 18 mpg. Regular here is $2.27. Thats the cheapest I found without going to the cheapy places. The average price for regular is something like $2.32. Good thing I don't need any premium at 2.50 a gallon.

ther was a special about gas a while back. one of the funny things they said is that the gas companies use a pipe infastructure to get gas to general areas where they will fiil up the tankers east coast west and mid west. they come out of their refinaries in texas say mobil will put in 2,000,000 gal to go to the west coast so at that distribution spot on the west coast mobil tankers will pull out 2,000,000 gal of fuel. nobody is exactly sure that it is only mobil's fuel coming out and not a mix of chevron, texaco or whatever as they do not purge the lines in between shipments. same thing with natural gas. they say the octanes ship in seperate pipes. fwiw
