we dont get cold enough down hear to require something that extreme. plus i'd prolly use my heat if the alternative... was well a lot of work like chopping and lighting and what not. oh man i'm ******* tired just talking about it, thanks/.

 

haha, we use a hydraulic log splitter. Not easy, but not as hard as swinging a maul, and a bit fun. Edna lights and maintains the fires, she's the pro at burning stuff. I just worry about melting the nearby electronics (cover the xbox and ps2 with tinfoil!).

 

What you are saying is you work for the gov't and you've figured out how to either minimize work load or delegate the responsibility to someone else... right?

on a side note apparently salt kicks algae *** in about a half hour. There is no algae left and i just through the 480 lbs of salt in lol

 

480 pounds of salt is overdose for that stuff! We only put in 1/2 a bag (20 pounds) to a bag (40 pounds) in at a time. If that doesn't work, we go out and buy more, and dump more in it.

 

it's 18,000 gallons of water, i think you are referring to a maintanence does, for the initial application you need gallons x .025 in my case 450 lbs.

3500ppm is the goal, if i added half a bag at a time and bought one bag it would take 28 days to reach 3500ppm

 

Three point five parts per thousand sounds a lot easier to achieve.
