This is great, I had an algae outbreak in the pool, which i later discovered was due to the chlorinator thingy breaking. Anyhow i just leave the autovac in and I hang the hose over the stairs. Wake up this morning and it sounds like there is a diesel tractor idling in the backyard.... it's the pool pump, $600 pump none the less, run outside to find 10,000+ gallons of water in the backyard, ******* sweet, apparently the lawn guys knocked the vaccuum hose out of the pool, which created a syphon and began draining the pool, HELL YEA. Anyhow I am refilling it now, scrapped the chlorine system and am going to a salt/chlorine generator system so i don't have to constantly add chemicals, it has a timer and runs automatically, as salt won't evaporate or get depleated by the sun i will have a lot less headaches. i've prolly spent $200 in chemicals just to get the algae out. it uses .3% salt so it is very gentle on the skin and eyes and in the florida sun is about the only way to maintain chlorine levels, everyday the sun hammers the chlorine and it barely recovers at night.... when the chlorinator is actually working that is.

Now i just gotta get someone one to buy the giant tub of shock and chlorine tabs i just spent $150 on
