New house that we did not buy, they have not refunded deposit = $2,000



Chase Mortgage takes money that isn't there's = $1375



New House that buying = $2,000



Now you wonder why I didnt have the cash to pay an unexpected mortgage payment?

I doubt they will refund the 2k deposit on the first house. most the time when you put a deposit down its non refundable.



and you still haven't got the money back from chase mortgage from when they double charged you??

 

Actually it usually is, there are several exclusions, when you buy a house, including financing, inspection, etc... but this isn't exactly that type of deal anyhow, all I bought was first right of refusal, they raised the price, I refused, just waiting for the cash to come back.
