I like my service department, but I haven't needed anything but oil changes yet (and a broken clip that held the fender and front bumper together, fixed under warranty). I guess it helps that I know the guy who works the desk, I always see him and talk to him at car meets and such. And that our car hasn't broken yet.
Parts department is real good, too.
I hated the sales process though. My dad and the finance guy were about to throw down some fisticuffs. I almost felt sorry for the guy, he looked pretty dweebish, and my dad is rather burly (people tell me he's scary).

my parents hate dealers! they wont work on their van under warranty. its had a clunk for about 40k miles...... atleast they did do a like $2500 repair job when everything but the engine broke at 39k miles, i'm very happy i made them get the extended gm warranty....

they will actually come and pick you car up for you and drop it off, if its going to be long they will bring you a loaner
for some things that actually might be better
