If you dont understand the laws and dont have much time in a court room, its a good idea to get a lawyer. However, if you are good with words, dress nicely and can argue a point (and lie) then tickets are easy to get out of. As was said earlier, all states have different laws. I dont know yours .. but i know mine. Here is my method.. and it never fails..

1: wait a day after the last day you need to send in the ticket, then send it it (mark you want to contest and you want to supeana (sp?) the officer.

2: call the court and ask for a discovery (thats asking for the information/evidence they plan to use against you)

3: when the court date comes, wait untill 1 day before and get a continuence on the case (tell them you had to leave town)

4: if you can, on the new date tell them you couldnt get off work, and put it off longer.

5: go in for your date, the officer wont show (99% of the time) ... -- and BAM, ticket is dropped.

trick is, extend it as long as you can, while keep supeanaing the officer. When you really go in, he wont even bother with you because it was so long ago and he will be afraid you wont even show. If he does show however, there are MANY things you can do to get out of tickets. Radar is the best way. Like someone mentioned before, calibration. Ask for records on its calibration, if the officer is trained on that spacific model, etc.. if he isnt, it should be dropped. It goes way deeper than what im saying here, so i will give you a good link to read up on ways to fight tickets.

Like i said though, this is for my state, not yours... im not sure how yours works.

here is the website
hey thanks... that was a very useful link....

I'm just worreid that if I followed what you recommended, they'll get fed up with me and really nail me...

Ah right. So you're saying that it's perfectly fine to lie your way through court even when you have "not" been innocent through all the "tickets" you've gotten? Wonderful.

No wonder you're a dick online, I assure you're a real *** (or try to make yourself look reasonbly tough) in person. When you are probably just another useless kid, with no life and a high ego.

People like you make me laugh And why is it everytime you insult me you've got to add "put your (or someone elses) **** in your mounth"?

You're gay. Just shut up, you're probably an all-talk kid anyway.

Judge me all you want... Like I care. That's all what sidewinderrx7 does anyway, even when he first joined the forum. See if I care.

When they see a nice sports car or a modified car, MOST (not all) would already presume you were speeding and would sometimes follow you for a mile to try and catch you;
I say fight it.. whats the wost that could happen? they cant make it worse...

but on a side note.. if a cops following you for miles.. and gives you a ticket. Could be called entrapment... I'd look into that. if it ever happens..
