im doign a thing for class on people and events that changed society, and i picked felix wankel, they show a snap shot on the tv and we have voice overs telling about the photo and how it changed society. My question is what should i write in 3-8 sentences how he changed society. thanks for your help.

not to be a dick, but maybe you should pick someone else. While everyone on this site would agree that Dr. Felix Wankel was an extremely brilliant and devestatingly handsome Demigod...I really don't think he's had some monstrous impact on society. I mean, as cool as the rotary engine is...it wasn't the first internal combustion engine. Now *that* would be something that our world would be drastically different without. I really don't think our world would be too terribly skewed from it's current state without the rotary engine....maybe I'm wrong, you know, all that "butterfly flaps its wings...turns into a hurricane" stuff, or however the saying goes. I just don't think he's really on any list of people who impacted any society outside of the automotive / aeronautics industries.
