hey guys, i just read that mazda is gonna come out with a new rx-7 in 2004-2005. it's call the "FE" and is suppose to be twin ball bearing turbo on the renesis motor. anyone else heard of this???? got the info on edmunds.com

I wonder.... it will probably depend a lot on the popularity of the RX-8. I guess anything is possible though.

yeah, it will all become stable w/ the outcome of the rx8. ifit fails then i dont think mazda would do another one

that sounds like it ought to cost a fair bit. specially if they completely out do the fd

Yes, the rumor is somewhat true. Mazda is doing the same thing as chevy and such...just as chevy will not make another camaro til 2005, the rx7 will not be back until mid decade either...it supposedly will be a new rx7 built on the a twin sequential(yes, again) renesis and rx8 platform. However, we will probably see the rumored MX5 Mazdaspeed miata before we see another new rx7 in the states...



my info is from collective sources(and a friend living in guam who gets more news then us, lol)...

yeah, i've heard that the motor is "suppose" to pump 380 stock

As the rx8 price tag keeps rising I would expect to see it cost somewhere aroung $50K or better.
