i have a question,,, i'm not trying to bash either... but why is paint always the last "priority" when it comes to honda's and body kits...?
That it true, they do paint last, BUT in this case, he did a swap, so why would you want to paint BEFORE you did the swap? You risk ******' up the paint and ****.

So he had a choice of having the front end looking messed up because of nature or looking messed up because of a *possible* lack of taste/money.

LOL I think my logic would tell me to keep the car slightly damaged uncase there is more than one deer out there...Until I can put the kit on and paint it.

But to each his own. I hope he does suspension mods up the wazoo, my friends 94 accord tilts like a truck when you turn slightly....

It's cool to turn a half-luxury econo car into a sports-Like car i suppose...but I just see all the cash spent on the car + mods and you could have had a decent sports car that's RWD for the same cashh.

Again, to each his own...

i think he has coilovers or something suspension related.. i dunno, don't talk to him to much anymore... i think in the end, too much money will have been spent on this car.. i think we estimated a total of about 27-30grand from start to finish. i think the car cost him 9 grand about 4 years ago. so an approximate 21 grand in mods on an accord could possibly be overkill, but it will be fast, and will be different than most accords (even though it will look the same)....

the same budget in mind, he could have a really nice fd, almost an rx8, or almost any other sport luxury car out there. but when you buy a car in high school and spend several grand a year on it making it better, its just another one of those hobbies that everyone gets carried away with .. exactly.. to each his own

Holy ****! Wayyy wayy to much money on a slow ugly car.

I could have an fd that would look way way better, and have 3x power for 10k less.

whoa.. way to revive an old post.. but since you asked, he doesn't know how fast it is yet, its not properly tuned yet, and i believe he still has a few issues he wants to work out before running it hard..

but yes, since he did an actual motor swap and turbocharged it, it sets him much farther apart than most honda owners.
