F^$@#n Rediculous

So today I come home. Since my neighbor has 3 vehicles and I've a second car in front of my house, I park in back. I walk to the front of the house and check my mailbox, then decide to walk the 5 blocks to the drug store and buy a magazine (Road&Track, if you must know)
The walk takes about ten minutes each way, and I shopped for awhile, so it's at least 20 minutes later when I'm 1/2 way home that a police cruiser pulls up next to me. The guy squawks his speaker and rolls his window down.
He asks my name. So I ask his. After all, this is Canada where police have to have good reason to question you, and I'm just walking along.
He gets beligerent and threatens to arrest me if I 'don't co-operate'. Fine. I tell him my name.
He asks why I 'evaded him'.
When?
He refuses to answer, saying he's not going to get into it. He pulls over into a nearby alley and starts writing me a ticket for no front plate on my car. The one parked in my back yard, off the street.
I tell him I've already received an inspection summons for no front plate, and have 2 weeks to report to the police station and show it's been installed. Sure enough, it's there on his screen.
"I don't care", says Cst. Fehr. "I'm pissed off. You're getting another ticket"
Why?
"For evading me. You sped home pretty fast."
From where? There was no cruiser behind me, lights on or not, and it's only 5 blocks from my house to the traffic route I took home, all of which was at a crawl due to rush-hour.
Did he radar/laser me speeding? No. According to him "Your neighbor wondered why you pulled into your backyard doing 90".
My back yard? That tight 90 degree turn off a dirt alley? I stopped from 90 to zero in 15 feet?
Now he's howling with rage. Refuses to answer any more of my questions. Fehr hands me the ticket and speeds off while I'm still leaned into the passenger side of his car
So now I've an $80 ticket and some sore ribs. NO bruising though, so I can't proove anything . Yes I was questioning him, but you'll notice he'd decided to write the ticket already.
This is the same police force under investigation for:
-sexually harassing their own female members
-murdering several native citizens by driving them outside of town during winter and leaving them to freeze
-allegations of corruption leading to a 90% vote of no-confidence in our police chief (held 2 days ago)
Bloody rediculous.

I talked with my neighbor. She says the officer asked her if she'd seen me, and she said 'yeah, he just left' and that was it. No way is she going to court to testify against me; not only did she not say what Fehr claimed, she has a small business just as I do, and we've been good neighbors for years.
