Engine Hizzelp!

I've decided to keep the Supra cuz i forgot about the whole "if you have to save to buy an FD you can't afford one".
Anyways I wanna eventually run some major horsepower. But the engine i have now runs fine and i really have no reason to tear the block apart. So should i just buy a used JDM shortblock and rebuild that with some stronger internals and valvetrain so i can still drive my car and work on my engine at the same time? What are y'alls thoughts.

that motor internals will hold together at 400hp with the proper ECU and tuning. a good rebuild/freshening will last you a while. you might want the turbo rebuilt. our site sponsor cheapturbo.com can do that

Go to the junkyard and grab a spare block.
Tear it down.
Rebuild it using teh good ****.
Polish EVERYTHING.
Attach a big f'in snail.
Remove current motor after it craps out.
Install bling factor 400 motor you've worked on for the past few months.
Race a RX7.
