So I sold some tools on ebay. they send me a warning letter about the auctions.

The tools were generic, so I made the title something like:

"tie rod tools NOR snap-on or mac"



well they have some rule now that you can't use the name of one company if the product is not from that company. they called it "search manipulation"



NO ******* ****!!! thats why I did it to get more views.

Isnt there a lot of people that are doing that **** with parts now anyway? they must send alot of letters haha

 

well...it does get to be a PITA when you do a search for "TIAL" and get 400 returns of nothing but "cheap piece of **** BOV but i put TIAL in the title anyway"

 

agreed. yes, it is a better way of generating more views, but its a huge PITA when trying to find real thing!

 

didnt someone from here say that they sent an email to ebay about this saying that they needed to do something to stop it?

 

I hate that when ur searching or a product and it says "not apex blitz hks", its so annoying.
