i know some people who buy TONS of **** off ebay and have yet to get ripped off. And ive also know people who rip people off on ebay. So its kinda like taking your chances. You should find someone on the forum that lives close to where the dude is at and have the person on the forum go get it for you Thats what i would do...

I've had better experiences on ebay with just people selling their own stuff than dealers. There are people on there just trying to get rid of extra stuff like you would on partstrader and usually the dealers have worse customer service, slower shipping and higher prices. There's always a risk though with buying anything online.

I've had pretty good experience with both buying and selling . . . but you do have to watch out for people trying to rip you off on shipping (usually Americans who want some ridiculous sum to ship outside the country). I've gotten outright scammed once, and had one transaction just go wrong and lost my money; neither time a huge amount.

The main thing is to check people's feedback rating before you bid.
