i know theres a drag racing section but no one ventures in there, feel free to move it tho.

I was wondering what the legal limit is on front rim width for a car such as mine (after i do the fuel, ignition, ecu, etc ****).

I was going to use the stock spare rim, 16x4, but someone mentioned that the guys at the track may not like that idea.

Anyone have some insight?

I believe its 4 or 5 inches...just go there and ask them the night you go to make your runs, if they say yes, put the spares on and have a friend watch your actual rims, if not the have a friend watch your spares

I think you'd need different tires. I wonder how many runs they'd make at about 100 mph.

I'm pretty sure the 4-inch rim is fine. If you find a tire that will fit that rim, let me know. I've not seen a 16" drag front.

umm want me to let you know now or when they arrive at the shop?

it's one of the perks of working at a shop i guess, we have 300 page catalogs of just tires from every tire manufacturer you can think of.

the ones im planning on are bridgestones, i believe cant recall right now, but there's a couple, some from specific manufacturers who focus on skinnies, and even yokohama has some.

run the spares with H rated tires.
