Well, my car was running like crap yesterday. It was slower than my stock 61 Karman Ghia, with a 1200cc and like 55 horses. Yes, that bad.

Pulled the plugs and this is what they looked like:

front rotor, no compression

 

rear rotor, good compression

 

all 4

 

Ahh, you can clean those up a little sandpaper and gas.

 

yes, replace them. no compression? u blew ur engine?

 

i believe my engine is freakin fundia(blown). But, if its blown, would it still run? Mines did. It crapped out halfway to work, and i made to work and back. no power and idled at 1300 to 1500 rpms.

ill let it soak for a few days in atf and cross my fingers.

 

Yea it will still run an apex seal is toast, depends on the details, but I went to look at a 1st gen a while back and it was running (barely) with pretty much no apex seals in one rotor... from what I could tell it was jacked, guy tried to ttell me it always ran that way.

 

nooooooo. I was waiting for this, but didnt think it would come this quick. damn. 4 cars and none are running.
