[quote name='Dysfnctnl85' date='Jul 6 2005, 10:14 AM']IMHO, the problem with Africa and all 3rd world countries is EDUCATION.

Education is the foundation for any society. If you're stupid, you're not going to get very far unless you LEARN. Hence, they are dying from diseases.

In light of this conversation, FBs are better.

The problem with this plan is what I stated earlier and got no response. THIS IS NOT OUR GOVERNMENTS PROBLEM!!!

Also, by doing this, they are FORCING me to donate. I disagree with that. If I feel like being an *** and not sending to CHARITY, then so be it, but I have no way to get out of paying my taxes.

And just think, most African countries lived without any form of money for years, they hunt and gather and go on living. They didn't get fucked up till money came into play. Why **** it up worse?

Noone is forcing you to do anything. You can either agree and sign or disagree and NOT sign. Freedom of choice.

The thinking behind tackling a problem like this is that it WILL be our problem if we don't address it now.

FYI

last night on FOX ( CNN was the other night) debate on the G8 and African situation.

Brother (speaker on behalf of some Org.) said that its the worlds fault that Africa has money and over population problems. The economist/historian said that everything went downhill 40 years ago after The French and English left and removed the commonwealth. As independent and sovereign states left to their devices they deteriorated to the warfare and the lack of education today. It is not our responsibilty to make them quit being spear chucking , murderous factions and bring them into the 21 century. They chose to be such. Nigeria is one of the richest oil producing states in the entire world and they are fucked up cause of corruption. Why throw away money and forgive debt of greedy tribesmans in a sovereign country? The people of Africa need to make the warlords accountable.

This was spoken of last night.

Yea, how come they allow the warlords to dominate their uneducated and poor country!

The poor people should start pulling money out of the air, and power out of their loins and educate themselves by meditating real hard!

Wow. Makes sense.

If they pass this, which I doubt, and do send 1% of the budget or whatever to africa, I WILL be forced into it. Anyone who pays taxes will be.
