just wondering if any of you bastids has some good info on a decent camcorder. I'm looking for one that i can upload the vids to my computer. that's basically all i need, but i don't want to end up with a shitbox either. so any of your help is appreciated

 

the sony ones are nice. i have a digital 8.... miniDV is nicer but more expensive

 

i guess i should've added that i'm biased towards the sony camcorders.



vos, do you know the difference between the digi8 and miniDV?

 

minidv has better quality and more expensive cameras and more expensive tapes but they are MUCH smaller..... i have a D8 sony cam dcr-trv340.... no complaints here
