The sweepers I see in the olympics, does anyone know what kind of texture those actually have? Is it like sandpaper, or just some kind of fabric, or what?

Looks like those lint brush thingies you can buy. They are cleaning debris and using friction to create a water layer on top of the ice.

To diversify the sport, kinda like letting Chris Chelios play hockey still, he's old as ****, but they have to let him play because it's good for the game.
