I noticed they don't even have bristles on the brooms now, never mind the old straw brooms!

 

its just not the same anymore without the straw brooms

 

I love curling, though I don't understand all of it. I came up with this idea, a curling bar. I figured aside from the olympics, those guys have GOT to be getting drunk when they play that. You could keep your beer on the ice, nice and cold.

 

enough with the ******* straw brooms, who wants to clean that **** off the ice?

 

They do that. Though whiskey keeps you warmer.

 

Half the **** you sweep with the straw brooms is broken off bits of straw from the last shot!

I think the canucks came up with the two beer drinking hat and straws just so people would not have to put down thier beer to do the sweeping.

 

You wanna be careful with the drinking though, you are standing on ice with one shoe with a hard plastic sole. If you go down them rocks hurt!

 

Straw brooms provide better balance than SWIFFERS!

 

Have you tested this theory? I disagree. The damn straw brooms and 'sleeved' straw brooms bend out from under you, allowing the faceplant.
