crazy ralphs rule #2: why stay at home and be miserable with a cold, when you can go to work and be miserable and get paid for it and maybe get someone else sick, so they can be miserable too

I stayed home sick yesterday, bad cold, and just feeling cruddy. Also have a montrous sinous headache.

This morning I came to work with the intention of tying up loose ends, getting some things done, and going home before noon. On my way to my car, my boss drives up (on his way back from somewhere), and proceeds to bitch at me for 5 minutes. Things like "...going to go home every time you have a sniffle?!?!" and "you should look for another job!" and "I wish I could get rid of you all and start over!" (talking about me and my coworkers). Then he apologized, and said he was just venting, and that I could go. I'm thinking, uh, no, that was uncalled for.

So I went to get some tylenol cold and sinus, and went back to work, just so he could feel embarassed all day. ***.
