Not the car.. the 'puter.

Came home from work and turned it on and nothing..



Windows was totaly gone. I have no idea what happened.

I have been trying to get it to install an O/S since 4:30.

I tried xp/mandrake/redhat and it finally took XP on the 5th try.



Anyone heard of any viruses around that are swamping the entire box?



In any case I have the partition all jacked up and after installing only the O/S on a 40gig C drive I only have 190mb of space left?

Does anyone think that defraging the disk will help?

I am pretty much out of options.

Hmmm... I'll ask my neighbor, he like's computer's, and all red outfit's.

 

last virus i know that was wiping everything out was the chernobyl virus back in like 2001, if you happened to get that it'd be hilarious in a weird sort of way.



i wouldnt doubt a new total destruction virus is out tho.
