OK we may have lost some posts, the backup I had of the forum was about 4 days old. i do not know what happened, but it sucked. We need to get the hell off ikonboard and fast!

 

hey man this for www.dtmpower.net is on ikonboard and they have way more users than us and run fine. i know because my bro has a 325is and i want to spank him with a 3rd ge rx7

 

It's been running fine for us for close to a year, but just becaues it works for someone doesn't make it great software.



Ikonboard is crappy, no way around it, I have done a lot with this software, but nothing can make a turd sparkle.

OK that pisses me off. Next time before you tell me how great someone maintains this software elsewhere PLEASE make sure you have your facts strait. On www.dtmpower.net they are NOT running ikonbaord. They are running vbulletin, which is a much better php driven software. ikonboard which we are running here is totally different and is perl/cgi driven.

all i meant was that they are running ikoboard too and have way more users than us, but you brought to my atention that they are not running ikonboard. Ikonboard and vbulletin look very much the same so i asumed they they were running ikonboard. i didn't mean to bash u. i geus i didn't present that post too well did I? anyway, im sorry for pissing you off, and if your still mad at me after this post, all i have to say is lol JK.
