Hi all,I'm probably sounding like an idiot, but I have an "83" 7 & I would like to know, what "port" is it? Also, what is the difference between a "bridgeport","streetport" & whatever kind of "ports" that are available. I'm just not up on it...please educate me.THANKS :dontgetit:

Your motor is a 12A with stock ports: 4 intake and 2 exhaust. Here are some explanations of porting options:

And the good news is you can PORT it HUGE and get BIG POWER. The bad news is, you can forget about a decent idle or low end power. But the power on top will make up for it all.



Unless you care about Mileage or Emissions.
