Chris Ledoux Died

Well I am not a country fan, but having worked for my unlce at the fairs each year I had many occasion to catch him in concert... he was the real deal no doubt. 56 is way too young.
Singer/songwiter, rodeo champion and artist Chris Ledoux passed away Wednesday from liver cancer. He was just 56 years old. He was the real deal when it came to cowboying. And a big influence on many of today's country stars, such as Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn and Kenny Chesney. Ledoux spent years on the rodeo circuit both as a bronc rider and a performer. But even after he got "semi-famous" after Garth Brooks mentioned him in a song he remained true to his cowboy roots. Ledoux continued to live on his ranch in Kaycee, Wyoming. He said, "What I want to be known for, on top of everything else, is that I was a good husband and family man".
