:bigok: I am getting a new engine thanks to my warranty company. The are floating about $4500 in parts and labor. They are also taking care of the control arm busing issue I had. I am so excited I could pee on myself....ok, maybe not that excited. But I am pretty damn excited.

I have a question too. I am guessing that the clutch is original and the mechanic will want to replace it. Should I go with the ACT S/S or the Mazda replacement? Same thing with the radiator, should I go with a Mazda replacement, or by an aftermarket one?

Thanks for the tips!

Tripp

I'd get an aftermarket rad. But that's just me. As for the clutch... I have no idea. Mine still works.

I've had serious issues with the ACT clutch. I've seen them in a 400+ rwhp FD after they've been abused for a year...whoa... Not a very good clutch IMO. However, it did hold real well...but once it's done, it's DONE.

Where did you find this warranty company? Do they deal with moded cars? Let me know. This could save me a real big headache in the future. Thanks.
