nice grainy green poo?
no they aren't green, but I'm not as "into" poo as you are so I don't spend a lot of time analyzing it.

OK so aside from the poo talk, I'm starting to get more serious about my sprout production, this is a small batch, 2nd round I got a stackable sprout system coming, I plan to make entire salads out of sprouts. I'm currently working with only about 15 lbs of difference sprouts, I have a 50 lbs assortment coming.
This round I did Mung, Alfalfa and Adzuki. The alfalfas sprout FAST, we were eating them the next day, I soaked them, rinsed them and woke up the next morning to a bowl full of sprouts. The mung's are your common bean sprouts, these are organic however and a HELL of a lot cheaper then you can buy them, these Mungs are 3 days along and should be ready for sandwiches and salads tomorrow, the red ones on the right are the adzuki's they are coming along very slowly, they soaked up a lot of water to I assume they will be bigger then the mungs.
Sprouts are something we've recently started adding to our food stores, why sprouts you ask? Well they are full of nutrition, protein, fiber, vitamins and omega acids in some case. The cool part is that we have the ability to store them on the boat dry and have a non frozen vegetable when we so desire. This makes it nice when we are away from land or humans as we often find ourselves.
I may try Chia seeds soon, they take a bit more work work as they cant be soaked like the sprouts.
Not that anyone cares, but i thought it would something to talk about.
