apply some tire dressing quick! ahhhh my inner detailer is mad at you.

not a fd but still black paint is black paint

LOL @ Tire Dressing. The most hideous thing I have ever seen was at a Covette show my dad had his car in. These winners had tire dressing on the threads!! I commented to my dad that I dont want to be within a mile of that place when they left.

I dont like that wet look as a matter of fact I rarely do anything to my tires. I dont like the look. I just clean the sidewalls really good of any brake dust.

i don't like the wet look. a nice matte finish is what i go for. i just don't like the dried rubber look. kinda sets off the look of the car imo

I've seen more crappy-looking paint jobs in black than in any other color, and even the nice jobs don't look that good to me.

So, I'd keep the color you have and learn to like it, but hey, everybody has different taste.

It's not like an FD is a '29 Dusenburg, so if you wanna go black, go ahead and have it sprayed. I'd be damned if I sell a good car just to get another one in a different color. That's just crazy talk.

And I know nobody cares, but I think black is fine for limos and hearses, but on a sports car? No way!

Please keep any mustang shots out of my presence...

Thanks, jerk.

Remember when I said I'm a perfectionist? Well, in the same regard, I despise everything that fails. Part of the "elitist" in me...ugh..mustangs...*shiver*
