Thinking about stepping into the 1990's and getting a cell phone. Probably want one that can take pictures. I'm a cheap *** so the least expensive the better. Recommendations?

And a question: Can you use any cell phone with any cellular service?

Nope, so whichever phone you want/can afford then that company's service you must use. ****, I sound like Yoda.

Verizon, they have the best service, allthough they are one of the more expensive plans.(you get what you pay for).

Then get the LG VX6000 phone. I bought one for my wife and 1 formyself about 4 months ago. Excellent phones, and the picture quality is good. I hacked the **** out of my phone. Free internet access, made it store and play mp3's as ringtones, and some other cool ****.

Right now Verizon has a special on those phones $79.99 after $50 mail in rebate. I paid $150 each after a $50 rebate bastards!

Well, on UNLOCKED GSM phones, you can swtich phones around by interchanging your SIM card. Unlocked means the software is not "locked" by the provider, so that you can only use their own SIMs

LOL Yea it was a big deal when all my friends heard I got one. I had always hated and spoke against them...and pretty much was pissed I got one for a while (Trendy crap i have to lug around with me). It has served its purpose though. I got mine in September.
