Dude, it's kinda sad...there's only one turbo kit for the 3G Eclipse. And it runs at a measley 7psi. But it makes like 290-300HP, not too shabby. My car stock makes 205.

As soon as the warranty expires, cuz I'm afraid a turbocharger might make it void, I'm going to do some custom work to upgrade the internals and test out some turbos.

To tell you the truth, I haven't looked at any superchargers, but you gave me an idea.

Mitsu didn't put a turbo in the 3G but they offer a V6, which is what I have, making up for the turbo. Just some info.
Sounds cool... Does that turbo kit come with an intercooler? Or do the 3G Eclipses run high compression? Are their trannies as weak as the previous generations?

I don't know much about these cars, and thus naturally curious.

Wow, this is how much I know about my car: .

So I don't know about compression, but I do know that I've had no problems with the tranny and it has almost 20K miles on it. As for that kit, there wasn't an info on it yet because it's still in R & D. No luck on superchargers either. This lack of forced induction is making me all the more ambitious. :bigok:

Any car in which the owner takes pride in. Modifies it either mechanically or cosmetically and does it with thought and the outcome makes you step back and admire the labor. I dont care what kind of car it is, if the effort is there its OK in my book.

I really wanted an FD (I know I'm an ungreatful bastard). But then I realized that I could not afford to maintain one, and my parents surely weren't going to help me keep it running if they bought the car!

Anywho, I'm VERY happy with my car. Just thought I would tell someone about it. Haha.

I forgot to mention that I have the utmost respect for any car that the owner himself has put labor and love into. Anyone with a big enough checkbook can have a nice car.

Ditto, unless it's owned by a dumb *** or they bought it already built.

Didn't those wacky guys in Hiroshima build your FD? j/k

Anyone one who works on their own car should get more respect than a person who just pays for it. Half the adventure is banging your knuckles, and cutting up your figners.
