Car Purist Are Idiots Sometimes
#1
This guy on the mini forum is really getting under my skin, and heres why.
"With no offense meant but when I see a MKIV like BRGMINI and 94touring's fine samples I think the translation has been lost there. Those are more MINIs than Minis in my opinion."
Now to sum up that comment. What he is saying is my later model sportpack mini, made by austin mini cooper in GB, might as well be a BMW mini. His reasoning is because it has extra features like airbags, abs, ac, 13inch wheels, ect... while the mk1-mk3 don't have those options.
So if BMW bought the name rx7 from mazda and produced a completly different car and called it the RX7, then 3rd gen rx7's would be more like the BMW RX7. Follow me?

It's like when ford had a bigger stake in mazda during the 90s. Even though they are all built and conceived in hiroshima japan, some people might consider them "a ford" since ford has a (woopity-doo) 30% take in mazda.

I know where he lives in Cali. Funny part too is he use to own a later model like mine. Then sold it and bought a couple earlier models. When he owned his later model, early models were ****, and now that he owns early models, later models are ****. I own both, so I can at least decide which one I want to drive on a particular day.
