Ok ..Cause I was worrying about a chemical reaction like corrosoin ..I dont want it to **** up my carb and send bad **** into my engine..I will work on this project this weekend..If I dont have to work..

BTW has anyone used a cool can before?Is it really that effective...cause right now..I have a racingbeat intake with Holley set up and the intake sits over the header and it gets ****** hot..How much do you think this will help me in 1/4 time? maybe .5 faster?[/quote]

Im thinking it will help cause of the intake and carb set up..I dont have a header sheild or anything ..I was gonan wrap the header BUT im gonan try to go with a turbo set up...



Does ceramic coating also work good to keep temps down ..like on a intake and exhast manifold..



How about getting tubo housings ceramic coated?
