brass is a very soft metal, I don't think it will hold up to the pressurs in a brake system, not to mention the vibrations it will be subjected to.

Yeah you should be able to use brass, but the cool cans that are sold by summit/jegs use aluminum tubing

i've been told to use brass, as it doesn't crack like aluminum might. either one would be fine though.

The gas tank does not work like a cool can..a cool can is inline box that has lines curled up inside and ice sits inside it so the fuel cools before going to your carb or throttle body..

I dont feel like spending 70-90$ on this set up when Ill make one for about $10-15$ and see if it works..

Im gonna be buying a LSD soon..and a 3 or 4 puck racing clutch..So im tring out diffrent things to my car..just my little secrets...

I've used brass stuff in my fuel system before, and it worked fine.

Ok ..Cause I was worrying about a chemical reaction like corrosoin ..I dont want it to **** up my carb and send bad **** into my engine..I will work on this project this weekend..If I dont have to work..

Thanks guys...

BTW has anyone used a cool can before? Is it really that effective...cause right now..I have a racingbeat intake with Holley set up and the intake sits over the header and it gets ****** hot..How much do you think this will help me in 1/4 time? maybe .5 faster?
