i was just wondering if a 89 rx7 turbo 2 compared to a 97 eclispe turbo?If both were stock which one would be likey to win a race?

I have seen stock Eclipses Turbo 5 spds running in the 14's stock.. the times I found for the TII Rx7's are mid 15's...

how much hp do those eclipses have? My friends dad has one, i think they are pitiful. I think the Rx7 will win.

Well then I would lean more towards the TII if it has a good driver....



Eclipse Turbo is 205 hp. Pretty easily modified. But the auto really slows it down especially off the line. They are kind of doggy for the first 2500-3000 Rpm's because of it. Even then the punch is not that great..



lets see this hp should be for Eclipses and talons from 95-99

2.0 120hp GS,RS

2.4 150hp GS,RS

2.0 205hp turbo GSX, GST



Believe it or not the GST's 5 spds are the fastest...

The GSX's are slowed down by the AWD. It helps get them off the line but hurts them at higher speeds as the weight and friction start exacting their tolls......
