I'm thinking of Buying a SP Rx7 that for sale in Australia but I wan't to know if any one know what to look for because SP did not come to Australia ( that i know of ) It's got SP badges on it but...........

I've takin it for a run and it goes very hard.

Mod's are:

T66 Turbo, 850cc injectors, microtech- LTX8 ignition, Greddy profec Boost controller, Greddy turbo timer full exhaust system, front mounted intercooler, full interior done, Tein suspention, 19 inch wheels, full kit (with big wing ) white in colour.

Dyno say's 438HP and 1/4 mile say's 11.21 at 134mph.

Asking price is $ 55.000 aussie dollars.

thanks Rx7 S7
I would doubt a little here.....the dyno of 438 is fine and so is the 1/4 mile of 11.21..........but...........the trap speed of 134mph seems pretty damn high for a 438rwhp car. Maybe not, but that seems really high to me.

SP's were produced in 1995. They were basically 3rd gens that were modified by Aussie tuner Allen Horsely.

60 changes were made to 1995 production cars.

From all over the car. Some of the more notable changes were 17" rims with a Mazda "Kangaroo" center cap

Carbon fiber induction assembley, a 110 litre carbon fiber fuel tank, Lightened flywheel,76 mm exhaust, Larger SMIC,Carbon fiber front end, vented alluminum hood,Kevlar Recaro bucket seats, and one big *** wing..

You should be able to contact Rank Rotary (03) 9585 1906

Or Rotor Master (02) 9725 4802 and they could tell you wether the car is genuinely a series IV/V SP.

Sounds like a damn winnner!
