Why do you think McDonalds is open for breakfeast? Because they want to serve the public? **** no. It costs XXXXXX Dollars per year per location. If they only opened for lunch and dinner it would cost them more per hour to operate than if they opened for breakfeast. The labor costs of a McDonalds is negligible in the overall picture of things. Same holds true for a Large Machining Center, it costs XX dolars per hour to own it weather it is running or not. So they hire a bunch of DEFPRUNS to chuck crap up. I used to hang around and help out in the "McChicken Racing" Shop, It was a Vintage car Race shop disuised as the local McDonalds Fleet Maintenance Facility.
