I'm kinda curious to see what the car looks like. Hitting a wall at 103mph is kinda hard. The frame has to be bent! And the guy was 28?? Thats sad. I thought he was alot older. Good Luck with your project

To correct you, He didn't die in the car, he died in hospital from the injuries from the car gave him.

The car isn't in to bad of a state. Just damage to the right side of the car and the bonnet. the right side is pretty smashed up, that's why I need another Rx7

I would say to get another one needing a motor and

convert all the good parts from the smashed one.

Cant just go throwing a "shell" on it, there is bound to be some

frame and suspension damage. If the insurance company didnt

want it then its probably alot more then its worth to fix

Locally when a car gets totalled the buyout is 10% of the book value of the

car, so it doesnt sound like such a good deal you got there.

he got it for like $4.5k USD, it has a T66 turbo blah blah etc etc and is a SP model. So i think paying $4.5k was a decent deal if it's only exterior cosmetic things...well and he has to replace the diff which locked up.

i still cant put all the pieces together and figure out what happened to the car personally so i actually cvant figure out if it was a steal or if he got robbed.

it was totalled for a reason though. I think it would be wise to use the

smashed car for a parts car. It would be better for him to find one with a

bad motor and do the work to it.
