Well I finally got a RX7 runs great, its a 1983......silver with red interior, no tears, or rust. Puffs out white smoke but thats normal right? Doesnt orverheat, just runs awsome im so happy......came with a cd player that actually works, new speakers, new tires. And i picked it up for $700!!!!! Everything works, lights, wipers, blinkers, interior lights, heater.....its just about perfect, except for one thing.......it leaks oil, but that could be the apex seals right? Im still new to rotary but i am learing little by little. But yea, I just wanted to let everybody know that I finally own a rotary, good car to learn on too. I still have plenty of money left from my talon that i sold and im picking up a 91 TalonTSi for a $1000 brand new engine, tranny, 5 point seatbelts, FMIC, gutted interior with sheetmatal all around(race ready), and all the guages........hes selling it for cheap because the engine and tranny arent intalled so i will simply put everything in because i know DSMs and i have a lot of DSM buddies that can help.....so yea just thouhgt id let you guys know the good news!

Cool im happy for you congrats on the car.I dont think that the white smoke is normal though mine doesn't smoke at all,how much white smoke comes out?

Well it barely smokes..........at idle you can barely see it but it is there. OH YEA!! before i forget......when i get on it, i shift and it like............grinds?its not really a grind but it makes a lound vvvvvrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuu noise....the guy i bought it from said it was something but i forgot the name of it but he said it goes between the engine and tranny.....if you guys know what it is can you let me know what it is and if its hard to replace. Thanks
