so the gay guy at starbucks conned me into an eggnog latte, and it occurs to me that a) it tastes like crap and b) thanksgiving isnt here yet.



soon we're gonna start shopping for xmas the day after!

For me, "Christmas" still means something, but the whole polically correct "holiday season" crap is just a ******* media-stoked frenzy of blatant commercialism, and it makes me want to puke.

You've got kids, so I can see it being a fun time of year, but once they get past the age where they believe in santa it loses it's sparkle.

I think its important for families to keep holiday traditions alive through the generations. It makes the occasion so much more than a shopping event.
