So I turned 22 on Friday... Nothing out of the ordinary. Head out to a concert, knock back a couple drinks, eat some cake... typical stuff. But my gifts this year... what the hell? I got a bunch of the typical stuff, CD's, tickets,clothes, tools, money, but to add to it, I received:



- 2 sponge bob DVD's

- 1 talking sponge bob doll

- sponge bob toothbrush

- "make your own sponge bob: just add sponge" kit

- sponge bob slippers



To clarify, I do like the show. I watch it every now and then... I've seen maybe 5 episodes in total, so its not like I am a fanatic or anything.



Now, get this... My girlfriend gave me a pair of silk-like Sponge Bob boxer shorts. She knows the only time I were undies is when I go to bed... Even better, my brother gives me a Sponge Bob THONG... Its Large, so obviously meant to fit me and not my girlfriend.



As funny as these gifts are... I'm left wondering: Do I seem like the type of guy to want to be sexually aroused by a sponge?

I don't think I've ever said so many "what the hell?"'s before bursting into laughter when receiving gifts. If they were the only gifts my bro/girlfriend had gotten me, I would have acted like I liked them.



Weird thing is, I got tese gifts from about 5 different people, and they all claim they didn;t talk to each other about it.
