Dents pulled, definitely. Clean it up as much as possible before installing stuff. Steam clean your engine bay or something while you're at it. While you're at it, check for any little things that need repair. I count it as a reliability mod... I mean, most clean mechanical stuff I see tends to work better than grimy mechanical stuff.
