Makes sense I mean, if one big turbo is impressive for a 4 cylinder engine, I suppose to make us impressed would be to have twice as many turbos for twice as many cylinders?

The Owner says Yes.. In the future.. for now it is a .96 cartridge inside the compressor.. can't go any bigger.. Me and Him are trying to figure out what to do for piping, fuel management, drivetrain buildup and stuff... Plan is to have it completed by April...

My brother-in-law is dropping a twin turbo setup into his C5 vette. It was already dyno'd at 530 rwhp (all motor) and they decided it wasn't fast enough so he's selling the motor, dropping in a new one, slapping on the twins and shooting for 825 rwhp.

And no, he isn't bringing it to the Revolution

piping : learn how to mandrel bend and weld

fuel management: motec m4 - m48 or haltec e11, e6x... bosch #490 injectors (maybe bigger)

if its .96, that is a good setup for a single turbo small block, although the geometry of the stock motor is not ideal for it (rod:stroke ratio),, you MUST port the head and change the cam, rockers and valve springs if you want it to live.

welcome to the world of the most expensive turbo motors know to mankind, chevy

Appreciate the advice man! I'll be sure to pass the knowledge down the line so we don't see a post in April Titled "My friends Turbo'd Z28 blew up racing an FD"

I'm wondering about the comp ratio as well, probably best to get dished pistons to avoid ping.. that and he gave me a funny look when I said nothing but 93 octane.. I had to explain why he should not put 87 in at all costs.. At least his transmission is already built for boost.
