Best way to cut plexi glass?
#14
Use the second to slowest speed setting on a jigsaw, using a bi-metal blade. Of course the bigger, square cuts can be done in the table saw.
If the edges are too rough you can use a router, files or block and sand to smooth it out, and you could also hit the edges lightly with a torch afterwords to give it the flame polished look.

I think maybe I got shitty plexi glass, stuff is pretty flimsy, I am gonna buy some lexan and give that a whirl.
ive had good luck with scoring it really heavily and bending

yes, score it on both sides and only do one break line at a time when doing this... score it on both sides, pour a thin line of lighter fluid down the score line one one side... light it, it should burn off instantly unless you used too much... but at the same time it ignites, use your hand on the edge of one side away from the fire and bend it as it instantly burns off... i dunno, i can do it, had to do it for a few cars, but takes some know how or you could end up burning the plexi glass, but thats how the pros do it if thats what you wanna call them
