Well, my Best Power Fortress UPS finally died. Need new batteries. This thing has been great for near 10 years. Runs my comp for over an hour when the power's out! Best thing is, I got it for free!

SLA type, 12-volt, 33 AH. Where's the best place to buy them?

Well, don't it just figure! Power died briefly during a gusty Sunday afternoon, and my cutting-edge win98 machine is fooked! I'm using the slightly outdated backup machine-- a P200 running Win95.

Perfectly! It's in my son's room. I'm currently upstairs on my old K6-233, which is also doing very well! Web pages load a little slower, but it makes a perfectly good web surfing machine.
