I got pulled over a few times (okay 6) for driving after curfew, and got close to getting arrested a few times but nothing major with the law ever. I just couldn't justify the risk of doing something illegal when the consequence is Jail

my little "eruption" wasnt focused on everyone, just a select few.
I dont need any congratulations, nor did i post this here to hear "congratulations". I posted this so people know my situation because there are people who were interested and wanted to know the outcome.
But whatever, i know who i am now, and i know what i do now, that is all i need.

We have all done things in our pasts that maybe others would not have done. It's not our place to judge each other.
Kevin personally I believe in you. Not in a ghey kinda way either. I was on a bad bad road when I was <21... I sold assault rifles out of the trunk of my car that ended up perpetuating the racial tension in my city. I stole and SMASHED a car with some friends. I broke into a house when the family was supposedly gone only to be greeted by the unmistakable sound of someone racking a round in a shotgun. A friend lost his drivers license so I would drive his drug runs for him since the police were looking for him to drive.
I am not proud of any of this, but it is were I came from and what I did. But today I would like to think I am a productive member of society. I served my country, I have been sober (illegal drug wise not alcohol) since 98 and I have not been arrested since 96, I work for the government now in a program that helps aid families. I am not saving the manatees or anything noble like that, but man it is 180 degrees from the track I was on!
Someone believed in me enough to give me a chance and to help me get out and away from the social circle and the lifestyle that would have guaranteed an early demise and or incarceration. The truth is freedom never looks so nice until you are flat on your back ready to lose it. I really hope you don't listen to the nay sayers and the negativity. Prove everyone wrong.

I know people regret alot of things they do, but try not to. Everything that happened you see and experience first hand, what better way to educate and better yourself.

No one believed in me before, everyone said i was on a set course i couldnt save myself etc. After having that put in my head by teachers, principals, family members, etc etc it sorta stuck and i gave up any hope of trying to change.
It was only when one person came into my life when i was at the deepest space of my depression from lack of self worth, 0 self esteem, social anxiety disorder, and about a million other things, it was truly not until she came into my life, told me i had hope, i could change, and i wasn't a bad person that i started to change.
all i needed was help, for their is never recovery without assistance in some way, whether it is smacking you in the face and telling you you need to change, or the comfort of someone walking you into that rehab.
i for one thank god for giving me one last shot at freedom, and god help me i won't just brush this chance aside like i have before.
kevin.
