I had a $200 Charbroil special, every year the thing was good for $50 worth of parts

Now I have a Vermont Castings, its like 5 years old, cost around $950 or so now that home depot sells it, sees ALOT of use- about 5 tanks a year, and it has only needed a new AA battery for the self igniter in all this time.

kevin I worked at sears for 3 years and sold a few of those. We made 150 dolars when we sold one, and they were DAMN hard to sell. The side marble peices weighed 500 lbs a peice, the back room guys ******* HATED me when I sold them

i WILL buy one, its just a matter of moving to a place where i could use it, cause my parents would never buy it, so i need to buy it for my own house, so i need to move, especially since i doubt an apartment would be ok with that mothertrucker.

I need to buy a house so I can build a brick one for charcoal. It just tastes better, don't listen to Hank. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

if you want to be a big shot you have someone custom make one for your backyard, they drop a Viking grill into a custom made brick enclosure with a countertop of your choice like corian, marble, granite. Hell they can even put a roof or a hood over it with a fan

you can put a fridge in that ****, broiler, bread warmer, etc..

yeah weve got that ge grill, 2 burners, and a sink in a brick enclosure with about a 12'x5' granite top. the fire is hooked right into the gas so if you forget to turn it off one night you wont be out of gas the next time, just have a high gas bill. that was one thing i hated about propane tanks, someone would use the grill and forget to turn it off and then i would get stuff ready to gril the next time and go out there and be out of gas.
