Base line dyno on my ol' corvette today
#1
I finished my new engine and put it in the corvette not too long ago and drove it around for a bit. I took it in for a base line dyno today just to get a better idea of whats going on. My tune seemed great and my AFR was perfect, so I wasnt expecting to have to tune too much. Turns out, not at all... the timing was perfect, AF was perfect the whole way and all that junk. My cars ECU pretty much used a mail order tune for a 346ci blower engine and then modified itself to my new 408ci blower engine. Crazies!
So as a base line it put down 478 rwhp and 478 rwtq at 5psi ... 460 tq @ 2000 rpms!
I have a smaller pulley coming in a couple days, I want to try to get the boost up into the mid teens. Anyways, its not a bad start!
Ill post the dyno in a bit!

Heres the dyno ...
remember, this is at 5psi ... Im having a pulley setup made for 17 psi, should put it well into the deep 600s and after thats on, a dry 50 shot will be added for those 1000cc bike encounters... lol
