I've gone on and off to the gym for the past few years. Since January of '03 I have hit it pretty hard, gaining 14 lbs. in the process. I now work out with 80 lbs. more on the bench and 50 lbs. more when curling. Those are the two I can recall right off, anyhow.
Sometimes, a lot of times, it's a pain in the ass to make time for the gym but when not only yourself but other people notice the gains, it makes it worth it in my book. Just wondering if anyone else is into it or not. |
I work out a little bit.
|
I did for a while. Then I was like WTF and became a couch potatoe again.
|
I've been pumping since junior year in HS, slowly but surely I'll pick it up more in a few weeks. I'm now medium built, but it doesn't show till I take of the shirt or wear something tight LOL.

Ohhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa there she is!
Err...who wants it? :P |
Started to work out again. I have gained 90 lbs since high school, 10 years ago. I have no job and no responsiblities and a free gym to use in my complex. Might as well use it. I go 5 times a day and spread out my works out thru those days. I'm starting to feel the changes, i' have lost 3 pounds, is all down hill from here.
Is easier to stay in shape than get back in shape. This should improve my power to weigh ratio too on the 7 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png The hardest part is motivation. |
50lbs on your curls? What were you doing before? TOTAL?
I think I started working out in Junior High, off and on, I just started hitting the gym again after 3 years, I broke my hand and ankle so I took a long break hehe https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png Im back in there again and the Japanese guys just watch and GIRLS of course too hehe |
I worked out hard core in highschool. Well until I tore my shoulder muscle wrestling. Now I do at least 3 times a week (6 years later). The bad thing is I still only weigh 135 lbs.... Damn genetics! It is nice to be cut though....

I've gained like 5 lbs since HS and it's been like 9 years. Right now, I'm up to 132, but have ranged from as high as 140, down to 115 (in TKD).
I bet with a little motivation, I could get back down to my HS weight (124-127). Even if I don't, my power to weight ratio ownes! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
In HS our football couch had this iron man competition about twice a year. You had to bench your weight 10 times and squat 1.5 times your weight 10 times. It was cake for me. Of course my max at the time was what most of the guys warmed up with!

Tell me about that SHITE
Im at 255 right now, totally ripped im 215 5`11 I cant get under 215 for all the tea in China hehe I havent weighted 135lbs since I was in JR.High hehe |
I'm just now getting back into lifting again, and it's tough, especially going to UPS to load trucks for 4 hours afterwards.

With regards to chest, I'm working with 185 lbs. to 195 lbs. on a 45 degree incline. Working with 200 lbs. on peck flys. As for back, I am doing 200 lbs. T-Bar rows ( I've run out of weights to add) and 170 lbs. to 180 lbs. pull downs. I do my best to make it four times a week, working every muscle twice. Arms, shoulders and legs then chest back and stomach. Presently: 214 lbs. Long term goal: 260 lbs. |
Yah. I work out. I'm 175 lbs. of solid muscle, and most of that is in my throbbing member. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

i work out..... and i hate it.... i work out and work out, and im still skinny!!! i have skinny genetics..... although i bench press around 275 for my 150lbs frame, i have nothing to show for it....... i still do it anyways, but the more the time passes the more half assed i have worked out in the past 4 years..... good luck, and i hope you see some gains

Dammit!! I have to get back into the gym. I used to be hard core. I was in great shape 18 months ago. I helped train my wife for her 1st body building comptetition. (she took 1st in Novice BTW) I trained too and dieted with her like I was competing. I have my body fat down to a min and was ripped.
I went once last week and I got so busy at work I heve not gotten back. My biggest obsticle is work and needing to be there so much overseeing everything. |
I've gotten sadly out of shape the last couple years, but I went for the previous 5 years hardcore. I've finally gotten back into it slowly.

I only work out because I have to. It's a requirement of my football contract, even though they don't pay me ****. I would rather just sleep later. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

140 lbs
195 lbs bench max i forget squats, ill max tommarro and see how I do I workout 5 days a week baby |
i worked out pretty consistent last summer, then slacked in thefall, then in the winter i started, then slacked last summer and now i am just getting back to it.
i wiegh about 145-150, benching 185 - 3sets, 10 reps, curls i think i am doing about 105 with a curl bar. same deal 3 sets 10 reps i travel a lot for my job so when i skip a whole week of working out and i eat a lot of good food and lounge in a nice hotel its hard to get motivated when i get home |
I lifted for five years. I have fallen out of it since i met my wife two years ago. I make to the gym maybe once a week now if I am lucky. I still lift some at home, but i dont have the schedule down like I used to. I am close to 20 lpds over weight. I weight 223 now. I should be at 195-200.
I will get back to it sooner or later. |

I've been working out on and off for over 15yrs, the longest I went with out touching a weight is about a year. It is tough to get the motivation to start and stay with it, espeacially with all the obstacles in life. The most I bench was 367lbs for 4 reps, that was this past Sept. I just got married on Sept.12th and I haven't been to the gym since. Help me.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

More like 380. 3 reps = +10 1 rep. If that makes sense.
